I really did not understand the point of your question. I have had many cats throughout my life. They are very playful and snobbish. They also look for affection when they want it. If you are having problems with her making a mess do not leave paper on the floor and buy her some toys that you can put some catnip in and she will play with that instead.

Smokey is a cat... and cat's love to play. Mine love it when I take a piece of paper and crush it into a ball for them. They bat it around on the floor and have a great time!! Cat's love anything that moves and they're curious creatures. Generally they love to sleep in high places so that they have a good view of their surroundings.

I think you need to go to the pet store and pick up a few cat toys. Cat's love scratching posts made out of sisal rope and having one of these could save your furniture!! They also enjoy the Turbo Cat Scratcher. Balls are great as long as they are not the cheap plastic ones. Don't buy anything that they can chew apart. Otherwise you could end up with a cat having stomach surgery. Strings are not good items to be left around the house for two reasons. They can swallow and choke on them and they can get caught up in them as well.

It sounds like you would benefit by reading about cats. There is a lot more you should know so that your cat is able to lead a long healthy life, so purchase a book or read about them on-line.

Good luck!! ;)

Cats are funny creatures like that - they all develop weird, little quirks. It's nothing to be alarmed about unless she starts tearing apart plastics and other harmful thing.

My cat, Zeusy, LOVES to tear apart plastic grocery bags, so I have to keep an eye out not to leave anything plastic in his reach.

I had a cat that used to play with the toilet paper roll until it was completely unrolled and then totally destroy the paper. They're just attracted to things that get their attention... if that's not too obvious a statement.

It's their charm - actually I leave the paper for a Play Day with mine... just don't leave the paper where she can get to it, and then when you have time, just enjoy covering her up with the classified, and have a good time.

As long as the cat isn't causing any damage there's nothing to worry about.
