What is a Chow Chow?

Question

I've read a few questions here reguarding a breed called "Chow Chow". I've never heard of these. Does someone have a pic of one, so I know what they look like?

A Chow Chow is a Chinese breed also known as a lion hound because of their lion mane like ruffs. They have purple tongues and can get very attached to one person and have anti-social tendencies to anyone other than that person. They can be good pets if they are well socialized.

The Chow Chow is usually an independent and loyal dog breed who makes an excellent guard dog. The Chow Chow has a thick and double coat, which makes him suitable for cold weather. This dog breed's most distinctive features are its almost straight hind legs and its bluish-black tongue.

I don't think I have ever played with one of these dogs. I'll have to look for one at the dog show next week.

This Chinese dog came to Europe in The 18th century. It is famous for being the only dog to have a bluish-blackish tongue. They are not the type of dogs to have around kids(They can get aggressive).They like adults, for some reason. Go to "Google-Images-Search Chow Chow"

Chow Chows are real hairy dogs. But mainly people just call them Chows instead of Chow Chow. I think their from China. Thier real cute though I have 2 one golden brown the other black

dont listen to these weirdos, the government covered this meaning because it was bad and now eveyone thinks its a dog. a chow chow is an enlarged penis. i used to have one of those dogs but they can get big. i mean big. but mine was half poodle half enlarged penis.
