Taking them off was no big deal. The ones on the molars felt like a little tugging-- but no pain at all. The rest just came off with a pop and a plier like tool.
The cleaning of the glue is just like having a dental cleaning with the rotating brush and abrasive cleaner.
I had the filing too and it kinda just made me feel dizzy -- but still no pain-- from the tool.
The strangest thing was the slimy feeling when the braces were off.
Enjoy your new smile!

okay well there's a little pressure when they take off the brackets which doesnt really hurt there's jsut some pressure cause they're yanking it. then they get all the glue off and stuff and then you have to brush your teeth and the filing down i have to admit i felt it - it makes your teeth vibrate a little its kind of uncomfortable but not unbearable.

trust me its all worth it when they're off!!!!

It feels really wierd when you get your braces removed. Like your teeth are foreign objects. They are soo smooth, you can run your tongue over them & not cut your tounge. That part is cool!
