Believing that your good or bad actions affect all those around you is basic Christian doctrine. And although sin may be forgiven by God, you will have to live with its affects for the rest of your life.

Other parts of karma is not in tune with Christianity. The part that how you live in this life will affect future lives. Christians do not believe in reincarnation.

How we get to heaven is also out of step with karma. Karma would say you have to be very very very good to deserve heaven. Christianity says no one can ever be that good.

Christians believe that it is through the grace of God and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that we gain heaven not through any effort or karma on our part. Although we are expected to live in faith, hope, and love.

With love in Christ.

Errr, uh, well, um, because it makes sense? Eastern religions predate Christianity and Christianity embraces the same concept as do most religions. Suddenly "fashionable"... not sure that's the case, but youth often do embrace the sensible that they somewhat erroneously believe prior generations don't know. Have fun discovering the yin/yang thing, BTW!

Of course it would happen "all of a sudden". Didn't you ever listen to "Instant Karma" by John Lennon?

Oh, by the way, that was recorded in 1970.

Because as the youth of today turn away from fire and brimstone religions they instead have faith in something you want so much at that age, balance. During that time in your life you try finding who you are and believing in balance and the possibility of enlightenment or more importantly certainty/solidness in your life is very attractive.

Well I am from the east and I do believe in Karma. But can you please PM me or mail me and tell me where it is considered a fashion?

Karma is the Doings or deeds that a person does. It could be Positive or Negative. I cannot understand how it could be a fashion. Please enlighten me.

Enlightenment!
YEA!!!
The belief in what comes around, goes around is a very good spiritual belief. If our youth believe that everything they do comes back to them, then they are more likely to do good deeds in their life!
P.S. Prior King James...it was in the Bible.
FYI
Blessed Be...
