Their sub title says it all " relentless pursuit of perfection "

They have stuck with the same models more or less since they were created in 1989. The LS, ES, GS lines.

All they have done since then is listen to their customers and service departments and refined the car year after year after year. In turn...making it perfect.

Other car makers change cars totally, models, etc every 4 years on average. How can you learn anything in 4 years? You can't. Lexus saw this gap and filled it.

The ES line, the Toyota Camry of the Lexus started out as a dressed up Camry cause it had already been on the market for some time with good results. The Camry is still going today and has held the no. 1 car spot for some time. Again same reasoning...just keep perfecting what you have.

Dependability beyond any other make.
My 1997 Lexus ES300 bought new has not been back to the dealer for repairs since the initial free oil change offered with the new car. Get oil changed elsewhere. Replaced air filter at 30,000 mi bought from auto supply store. Still original spark plugs and runs smooth as new with average MPG over 20.
So there!

They have total focus on real quality. (as opposed to the advertising of quality that does not exist) Everything they build is over built and designed not to fail. They charge a fair price for that and that is what makes Lexus the best vehicle on the planet. Ford and Chevy owners should check it out and measure the cost of many years. A Lexus holds its value on resale and that reduces the cost of ownership by a great deal.
