Exactly. Put yourself in their shoes and what would you think of this country? Some of the homeless people are very knowledgable and have skills but they like that kind of life. Most of them are happier than someone who makes a lot of money. Go figure.

Well I've talked to a few homeless people. Some of them actually prefer being homeless and there isn't really much people can do to "help" them, when they themselves won't help themselves because they feel they are doing well.

There are also those who really want help and would like to live a normal life, but it's very hard for them. Life is hard, even if you have a job and a home. At least the homeless doesn't need to worry about their mortgage.

You, me, we all should take care of our own. It's easier too because they are here..........And of course they are worth living.
Every life is precious......It's called "pay it forward". Why wouldn't someone try to help his fellow man if he is capable...What do you think Jesus would do? Do you honestly think he would just walk past that person without asking him if he needs anything?
That homeless person may very well have been a rich person
who fell on hard times.........We could very easily lose everything we have tomorrow and become homeless........Ask all the people from New Orleans...........Here one day, gone the next! Many of them are no doubt "homeless". So do you think they are worth living? You betcha! As far as other countries, my gosh don't you have any idea how much we have and continue to help other countries..........Apparently not, or you would not have asked the question.................

I believe we should take of the homeless that wants to be taken care of. MY life does not get worse because society is helping somebody else out. sure there are some that might not want to work and try to "use the system", but if we just help them out we will also have less crime and less drug problems and also more more people that "recycle" money back in to the system. In the end it will cost the society less ....

I think we should always take care of our citizens first, by any means necessary. Kindness does begin at home, how can you help others when your brother is barefoot and homeless. We need to show more compassion for our fellow man here at home. I'm sure if you looked around your community you could find someone in need right now.Sometimes, things aren't always what they seem, people fall on bad times, lose there jobs, get sick and boom out on the street. I a;ways say "There for the Grace of God Go I", it could be you begging on the street one day, asking for help....

I think we should help them if they want to be helped. It's hard for people to accept help from strangers. Not everyone who's homeless wants help. Put yourself in their position , would you want someone to help you? Sometimes bad luck or job closings force people to become homeless. Yes, help our countries homeless before helping other countries.

uh, yeah!! but unfortunately the USA has to kiss hiney....politicians suck.... we need to focus on domestic issues first. How about Louisiana??? There are still homeless there. Big cities...a lot of places you look, people are homeless. There are some homeless people who choose that life, but there are too many that do not. Let's take care of "us" before we give money to Iraq.......Crap oil for food??? How about oil for protection???

Are they really home -LESS or are they just home-FREE? It's a matter of perspective. While Jesus was on this Earth, he was basically homeless...walked around and stayed at friends' places. I mean really, it's not about helping the homless, how about we feed our OWN american STARVING children? Someone tell Angelina Jolie and Brad (arm) Pitt that there are plenty of under nourished black babies here too!

I believe that each country should try to take care of/help their own people first, and put their own country's best interests first.

However, sometimes other people have to be helped first before it is possible for our own people to be helped.

Sometimes we have to look at the bigger picture.

we should help our country first, there is not a person around who hasnt had some kind of difficult times and needed someone to help. do unto others as you wish them to do upon you. and think how would you feel if it was you, everybody deserves to live
