CDs are genearally Read only. Hence, once u record onto a CD once, you cannot delete the contents of it. If you use a RW (read write) CD, you can delete the contents of the cd and rewrite.
Unless you used a RW CD, you cannot rewrite it.
Anyways CDs are really cheap, why overwrite them - just burn a new one!

You can only write over a cd if it's CD-RW.. if it's a CD-R then you're kinda screwed and have to live with what you have one the cd...You might just want to go to walmart and pick up some cd-r's and burn a whole new cd..

good luck hope i could help

It depends on the type of cd you have.

CD-R allows a one tjme recording to the disk
CD-RW allows you to write and rewrite up to 1000 times

Only re-writable cds can be erased and re-written. If you want to be able to do that, then buy them. They cost a lot more than regular ones, so if you do this rarely, just toss them and do a new one. If you do it a lot, then invest in them.

Nope

Only way that would be possible is if the cd is a re-writable cd.

if your cd is a cd-r you can't delete the music but if your cd is a cd-rw then you can erase and re-write, it should say on the cd if its a cd-r or cd-rw.
