For those of you who said "burn in hell" and all that stuff... I read the label, and all it says is safe around cats or dogs. They even put the little IAMS logo on the bottle saying it's ok. NOWHERE ON THE LABEL DOES IT SAY "DON'T USE ON PETS" thus my question...FASHION BUG!!!!

No, It's not any Different if you give a cat a bath or use kat spray. Theres nothing wrong. I sprayed my cat with my body spray and he was fine.

While your cat may appear to need a good febreezing, I don't believe that it's very healthy for them.
You see, cats bathe themselves quite a bit on any given day, and they do so by licking themselves all over.
Thus, if you febreezed them, they would be taking the febreeze internally, and this is not really very healthy.
You should febreeze everywhere but the cat, and that should help. If your cat still has some sort of odor issue, then you might want to speak with a vet about available options.

Yes. It says do NOT use on pets. That have to put that there for dumb people....like the words on the side of the McDonalds coffee cups.....COFFEE IS HOT!!!
It is sad that they have to do all that and that people are not more intelligent!!!
I guess maybe you didn't get the idea when it says "Safe to use AROUND cats and dogs." What does that mean to you?????
It also says "Pet Areas" under the little pictures of what you can use it on.
Mine actually says do not spray directly on pets, right on the box it came in. I guess they do not all come in boxes.
I guess they need an idiot disclaimer like McDonalds!!!!!!!

how would you like to be Febreezed!!!!
try this instead
1 cup warm water with 3 spoons distilled white vinegar.
slightly spray on a warm cloth and rub him/her gently.
At first you will smell the vinegar, but in minutes the smell
is wonderfu.
Don´t do this too often, especially on cats.
Once a month is good.

The problem with spraying a cat with anything not designed for a cat is that the cat will lick himself and ingest whatever is on his fur. I would think that Febreze has chemicals that would not be good for felines.

well, i'd say being that people actually sit around and answer your question and think you're serious and are so sure that you shouldnt,.....i'd ask your cat. they do smell bad, kind of like you... i'd use strawberry shampoo, like i do on my ferret. mmmm.... makes em smell so good you want to eat them. can i eat your cat? i'll use the febreeze to freshen up after i digest your cat.

You said it said it was safe to use AROUND pets. I would think that certain chemicals would still affect our furry friends if they actually ingested it. You can always check out the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at http://www.aspca.org

Why the hell do you want to fabreeze your cat? It could have toxins in it! What is wrong with you?
It should be illegal for people like you to have pets.

i febreeze my freinds who smoke. does your cat smoke? what might work better is a little baby shampoo and a good bath
