How old were your children when they started rolling from their back to stomach?I have heard they usually go from stomach to back first.

Babies do usually figure out how to get from tummy to back first because they push with their arms. To go from back to tummy requires more full body coordination. Starting to roll onto their sides or all the way over usally happens between 2 and 4 months.
My kids are 5 and 8 and I really can't remember any more. Didn't write it down either. Bad mommy!

My daughter is 5 months old now. She started rolling from her back to her belly at 4 and a half months. She still has not rolled from her belly back to her back though. She's getting close.

My son started rolling from back to front at 2 1/2 months, but he can't yet roll from belly to back all the way...all babies are different...

My daughter rolled from back to stomach at 11 weeks. When you say "usually" your kid will do the opposite!! Count on it :-)

I think it was about 5 months for my daughter and 4 months for my son

I have 3 they all had different miles stones. Enjoy each day otherwise you'll wish away special moments waiting for the "right month!"

does it matter how they roll..just be glad they're rolling..wen they get older..buy them a benz and they'll really be rolling
