Not a thing in the world wrong with interracial relationships, as long as that is not the reason for having the relationship. Any relationship based on love and trust will blossom, no matter of race.

If you aren't planning on having children with the person then go for it!
The only reason I say that is because of the stress that is put upon the children of interracial relationships. Kids are typically mean and can say and do things to scar other kids for life.
On the other hand...there are probably ways of dealing with all that too. Good luck and be happy!!!

I wish people didn't mind about it, but it seems that a lot of people only date one 'type' of person. I've known some girls who have said, "I can't imagine dating a person who was ____".
I suppose they never imagined themself with someone of a different 'race', and that their idea of happiness doesn't include people who look different from them. At the same time, many people still put high value into what their parents tell them to do, rather than making choices that they fell will be best for them in their lives. There are probably a lot of people, if asked, who would state that they would not have a problem, but in practice or in reality they would not consider it(rather a face we show to the world compared to who we are deep, deep down).
I find that very sad for us a human beings ambling around trying to find love somewhere.

i personally dont agree with them.......
there is a culture diffrence, even in countries that cultures have lived side by side for years.... the easiest way i can explain it is to use the whole catholic marrying a baptist the two religions although both on the suface look like a god fearing upstanding place of worship. the catch is they believe the road to heaven to be diffrent . if you have children then which is the best way to raise your child. some say let the child decide. then comes two problems one is god commanded parents to teach the road to heaven , and the other you stand to lose a child in his confution.
these are core beliefes and shouldnt be alterd..........
so is the core beliefs of diffrent cultures where as you blend to cultures and you lose the core of one or the other culture and also the firm beliefs of our culture. if an interracial couple moved in next door to me i would accept them as is they where of the same race. i love people and dont want to offend any one with my beleifs......................... lmao i just lost another ten point question lol

They aren't bad at all. In fact they're fun;, especially when you have to meet the parents of the girl you're dating for the first time... or her grandparents. I've got a baby on the way from my white Fiancee. Hopefully the world can realize that were all different, but the same also.

I feel great about it! I really don't mind interracial dating. I think its beautiful when people can express their feelings and not bow to the status que placed on us by society. People forget and so it seems, there isn't what they would describe a "problem" with this situation, They choose not to address it, well the "problem" is people being color blind, to the specifics of the word, BLIND TO THE COLORS AROUND YOU. They are unwilling to accept them and hence they are not there or you are blind to them. I don't believe in color blindness, its ignorance, it needs to change, be aware of the wonderous variety around you and accept it. I Think its extremly interesting to learn about other people's ways of life. I think its really sad that people of any race can simply 'dis' others becuase they are of any color.

A relationship is a relationship! Everyone has a choice who they want to be with. What does color have anything to do with a relationship? I have brought my kids up not to know the difference, they treat everyone the same!

I dated a girl from another race and she was one of the best girls I ever dated. I remember her saying "Racism is SOOO stupid!"
It really is. If we weren't supposed to get together, there'd be no such thing a multi racial kids. It's probably has some benefits for offspring, since it's further removed from inbreeding.
Also you can learn things about yourself and them by dating someone of another race (or same race, different culture).

I think they're cool aslong as they have respect for each others culture. A lot of traditional families frown upon it,but it's a new generation.
