There's tons in the English language, this is my favourite though, being a dog lover - I even own a big one, dog that is.
And really, isn't it God spelled backwards is dog? I mean, who was first? :)
All I know is that it's the best 'oddity' as you put it.

This question is only true in English! What is the name of God in the 200 languages of Thai villages? The 1800 languages of the Philippines? Or, Cambodian? Or, in one of the 280 Indian or five major Chinese languages?
It is said that there are more than 2,500 languages today? Nobody has an accurate count! There is one whistling language! Several are gutteral for the most part.
But, in each, GOD has a different name! The names of God are legion!

I don't know about 'accident' however if you spell live backwards it spells evil. Santa, you flip the N, T and A and get Satan.
Taco spelled backwards is O CAT (is that an accident or a recipie?)

Nope, A dog is the most faithful friend you could ever have. He forgives you no matter what and is always happy to see you, all you have to do is pay a little attention once in a while. What a coincidence.

There is another language on earth where the word for god is Stac, however there is no word for cat in there language, and Stac is more like the spirits that inhabit everything.
