I don't have a formed opinion about that.
But I don't know if that's fair because in one hand they do that to help their relatives in Mexico, but in the other hand, it is unfair to don't contribute back to the economy/country that is allowing you develop economically.
I'm an Argentinian living in Argentina.

That's interesting. If you add that to the cost taxpayer's support them with, it brings the number to almost 450 billion a year.

Deportation is only 250 billion. It's right, just, moral, and now financially sound too.

Well....
Your On The Right Track
But Your Numbers Are Wrong

Mexican ILLEGAL Aliens Send About 39 Billion
Back To Their Families Annually

They Might As Well Be
Loading Our Gold From Fort Knox Into Trucks
And Hauling It Down To Mexico City

Its A Huge Drain On The Economy
Once The US Dollar Leaves The USA
Its GONE From Our Economy

That Amount (39 Billion)
Is Second Only To Mexicos Oil Revenues
Which Amount To About 64 Billion

I think with those big gifts--we should demand a little accountability. And that accountability should come from their Government! Because year and year-it doesn't seem to be helping the people-I could be wrong.

Claudia-no offense-but we have sent money to Mexico for some years now--I don't think the people get it-but it has been sent. I think the government should be held accountable for the money that is sent-and how it was used. And what we spend on other things is unbelievable. I see nothing wrong with asking for an accountability to the governments-on both sides.

How can they send 124 billion to Mexico? Thats impossible. You must be some stupido Argentino who obviously hates Mexicans. If you live in Argentina why doesthis matter to you? How is this affecting you? You live in Argentina you can't possibly know if they contribute back to the economy which they do, so you should stop believing all the crap that racist people like to say.

It's a double drain to our economy, the money that they took out of an American workers pocket is being sent to another country to support that countries econamy. Now do you understand why they cry unfair when someone starts talking about sending them back home. No it's not unfair, but what they are doing to us is unfair, very unfair, and another thing that is unfair......, our government doesnt give a dam* !! Would you like a cahnce to do something about it, legally, not illegally like everything they are doing and getting away with ?? Check out the url below;

I admire that part of their culture. Just so you know most legal immigrants that have family in their native country send money to their family. That is one of the big draws to the US for the legal immigrants. How can you say that it is wrong for those family members to help other family members? Would you think it was wrong that a parent help their child through college? Or a child (who has done well because of the sacrifices their parents made) to send them on that dream vacation because their parents couldn't afford to do it for themselves? And, no I don't see the other family members as "leaches". They may not have the ability to come to the US.

I call that leeching. They obviously don't care about this country seeing how they came illegally. So them being here is really not good for this country and they don't contribute at all. I'm happy some places are enforcing the laws in this country i just hope soon more and more will too.

Geceezee, What race exactly did we kill?? Don't corrupt her info about America with your crap.

They paid taxes, bought cars, houses, food, clothes etc. all that money is spent here, so any additional goes to Mexico or any other country to help family instead of put into a savings acct. It is fair that they have a choice in what to do with their earned money.

It' s not that much.....
Immigrants from Europe and Poland transfer more than your estimate to Mexico.
They have for about 25 years.
The last estimates made by the Gov. were about 500 to
700 million dollars (taxed) transfers made to mexico, about 7 years ago.

No, it doesn't seem fair, but whatever monies are sent home is sure to be taxed in future legislation. After all, the U.S government wants a piece of the billion dollar pie.
