It tastes terrible, but a small amount won't hurt her. The active ingredient is essentially harmless to mammals, but the solvent could be harmful in large quantities. She may drool because of the bad taste. The biggest problem is that if she licks it off, the Frontline isn't on her skin protecting from fleas. I'd re-apply in about 3 weeks instead of 4, and make sure to keep it out of tongue range next time.

Frontline has been used for a number of years so don't worry about her licking it off, as it won't hurt her at all. When it's time for you to reapply it, try putting it on her back, up near her head region, where she won't be able to lick it at all.

Have you ever thought about making your cat an indoor cat? It's much safer for her to be inside for a number of reasons. You'd never have to worry about her getting fleas or ticks, getting run over by a car, stuck in a tree, bitten by another animal or someone stealing her. There are some diseases that cats can get that are not curable. So having her indoor would solve all of these potential problems.

I made one of my outdoor cats an indoor cat for these very reasons, and I'm glad I did. He wasn't happy about it at first, but adjusted very well afterward.

Good luck!!

I use the same exact thing for my cats in the same exact place, and they're still living so no it wont harm ur cat. But if ur cat did somehow get to it, she/he probably wouldnt die if they didnt eat much. I read in some cat book that cats can sense what is harmful to them. Anyways, i dont think u have anything to worry about.
Glad to help,

No. Cats can lick it off and have seizures. Put it on the back of his neck.

It is fine. Most cats will attempt to lick it. Then they figure out that it doesn't taste good!!!!!! She will be fine. In 12 hours it will be absorbed and you won't have to worry about her licking it.

don't wash it off it will lose its potency. she wont get mush in her system from washing herself it will absorb pretty fast, what she does she will more then likely spit up, it may look kind of foamy, she wont like but she will be ok.My cat freaks out and spits up but in the long run she ok.
