We all know that you say "Bless You", "God Bless You", or "Gezundheit" when someone sneezes. But what do you say when someone coughs?

To my knowledge, nothing.
If a person is having a severe coughing fit, you might offer to get him or her a glass of water.
I suppose asking the person if they're okay might be acceptable, though I personally hate being asked that. If I'm coughing up a lung, I'm obviously not okay! If I just barely cough, I don't want to have to give a report ("I'm okaaaaayy!") every time I have a tickle in my throat.

Depends on the cough. If it was phlemish then I'd say eeeewwwwww! Or oh you poor thing. If it was a dry cough, I'd ask them if they'd like a cough drop or a drink.

Depends on the cough. If they are coughing endlessly then I will be worried and ask them if they are okay. If just general cough, then it should be okay. Covering their mouth is polite thing to do.

If it is just one or two coughs, then I wont say anything. Any more than that, I will ask if he/she is ok or needs a drink of water.

nothing. if they are like hacking up a lung i'd ask if they are okay or if they need some water... but yeah... coughs don't require anything..

Tell them to cut it out! Also, to cover their mouths. Ask them if they have a cold, because you don't want to catch it!

I usually say are u ok? gotta bone in it? or something like that if its real bad u ask if they would like some water

usually nothing unless there turning purple then I give them the Heimlich maneuver

ignore it -that's what people are supposed to do, same applies to sneezing. pretend that nothing happened.
