You simply can use Nero and create a data DVD, meaning you burn the files lto dvd like they are stored on your HDD.

HOWEVER:

Most stand alone DVD players will play back wmv clips and avi files but NOT "real" player formats. You need to view the REAL files of the DVD on your puter thats got the REAL-player.
Just create an extra folder for those on your data DVD.

I would use Nero and burn it! It will have a converter on the Nero Program! But it takes along time! especially if its compressed like hell!

On Nero select the DVD tab on the upper right corner where is has CD and DVD! than click on "Make Your Own DVD" But its its encoded with somesort of code! you might run into some trouble! because encrypted files prevent you from making illegal copies of movies! but if its your own movie from a DV cam! than im sure you can burn it!

Hope this helps

certain, use a burning software inclusive of Nero. you've an selection to make a VCD/DVD.Then opt for the info to beburned to the sparkling media. Nero will then encode the selected video information and burned them contained in the selected format. you'll then be able to play the blistered media utilising any dvd or vcd gamers.
