Subjects: All the basic biology stuff, lots of chemistry. Plant science and classification, plant systematics, plant anatomy, plant morphology and evolution, plant ecology, mycology, landscape ecology, agrostology and a few others.

Would you consider it to be an easy or hard degree?

That depends on YOU. People who aren't that good at the biological sciences would find it hard. For some, it comes more naturally. I found it challenging, but not overly hard (I found Calculus HARD).

Did you enjoy it?

Immensely!

Find it interesting?

More and more all the time!

I did a plant biotechnology degree which encompassed both botany and biochemistry papers. Under botany we studied about plant physiology, virology, mycology and plant pathology. Other students also studied about local flora and ecology. the real botany students were always going off on a field trip every other week. and for the mycology paper my lecturer got us to brew our own beer and grow mushrooms. it was cool, very enjoyable, a bit more relaxing than biochemistry papers
