I accidentally forgot about a tray of dog vaccines that I bought and left them on the kitchen counter for 12 hours. Are they dangerous now? No big deal to replace them...just curious.

THEY MUST BE THROWN OUT!!!!!!!!!! They are probably not going to cause harm, but they are useless now!!!!!!!! There is no point in giving a vaccine that is no good!!!!!!

Call your vet and ask him or her to contact the manufacturer (or call the company yourself). I work in a vet clinic and we got some vaccines in once that had been mis-shipped. They weren't hot, but the certainly weren't cold either (more like room temp). The company told us there were fine as long as they hadn't gotten hot and were not "warm" for an extended period of time. These were not dog vaccines, but do call and check. Vaccines are expensive and you may not have to toss them.

would you inject your self with them? i wouldn't. this is the leading cause of children's vaccine reactions. when a drug needs to be kept cold they mean at ALL times. toss it .safely. please.
