good question--but Sig, who just answered said, "Jesus is more concerned with a man's heart. . . " I think that one's actions in the world say a lot about what's in his heart. Don't you? and I DO think the Republican party and controlled Congress ARE taking us down some pretty shameful roads. . .

He'd be ashamed of both parties. Both Republicans and Democrats have long since abandoned any pretense of representing the average citizen. Now they just stake out a position on an issue and use it to raise funds, which they use to elect canditates, who then argue to create more controversy so the party bosses can raise more funds.

We are all created by God...and we have all fallen short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23). Jesus came to save the sick, and they are Repulicans, Democrats, Terrorists, Jews, Russians, you, me, Americans...the point is God (Jesus) was not ashamed of any sinner, He died for us to pay our price for those sins. He hates sin, and we should too, whether they are Republican tactics or a Democrat President shacking up in the Oval Office.

Why is it the goal of the liberals in this country to denigrate the elected officials in such blatant an immature manner.
I think it is more than obvious that President Bush is a devout Christian. Like any person Christian or not he is not perfect. The only perfect man to walk this Earth went to join his Father a long time ago. PLEASE listen Americans we should support our President. We are at war. A war impressed upon us by those that want all (that claim Christ as their Lord), and all that are Americans Dead. It is time to quit wringing our hands, and stand united against those that hate every thing about us.

When did you stop beating your little puppy?

Jesus was the son of Joseph of Aramathia, a renowned carpenter, whose furniture was well known throughout the region! His Older brother and sister from the first marriage of Joseph, in the times of Jesus, held more power, stood to inherit the family business, and got the majority of wealth.

But, Jesus was rich, also, and well funded with his small share, to study Scriptures, Torah, in the Temple, and he could preach there, without being stoned to death, as was the law, because he was part of the establishment of Priests of the Temple!

Now, in order to be a Priest in the Temple, a man must be: 1. Married 2. study for TEN years in the university of the Temple, 3. Be sufficiently funded to afford the sacrifices (fees, costs of garb, robes, and, costs of animals sacrificed).

There were NO exceptions under Jewish LAW! Any violation of those things meant being stoned to death! People who entered the sacred Temple, and preached without having completed the proper steps were considered evil, possessed, or crazy, and were stoned to death.

I think that Jesus was what describes a Republican, more so, than a Democrat! Jesus worked hard to become the best!

Anyone with the lack of ideals of hard work, personal responsibility to feed and clothe oneself, and to support one's family, without any welfare from others, were in the minority, and had no power to change the government, could not vote, and could only regain respect through very hard work.

So, any Democrats in Jesus time, were probably in a tiny minority of abject beggars, as should be the case today, except that the Democrats held Congress for 40 years, and wandered in the wilderness of lost ideals and stolen dreams, where they voted themselves and all other beggars a 'minimum subsidy' that is stolen from honorable hard working men and women.

Does that describe you, per chance?

Which tactics? The Republican Party I know seems to be pretty inept, and lacks any kind of tactical ability. Which Republicans are you thinking of?

He's ashamed of most of the way the world is following satan with all the sin of adultery, free sex, out of marriage sex, homosexual sin, greed over money, and that people have fallen away from the scriptures. It's not just about politics. It the whole world.

No. If Jesus is all knowing, he would know it would be this way since he/God created the universe. He would not be ashamed of something he's known about forever, especially something that he is ultimately responsible for.

Of course not. Jesus, like today's republicans, was a war-mongering, anti-environmental fascist who wanted working-class people to pay for corporate welfare and tax breaks for the super-rich.

Jesus would be ashamed of all of us. We all judge each other and do not respect why he died for us. We need to show all people love, no matter the sins they have committed. we all sin and God see all sin the same. We need to follow what Jesus said, Love your neighbor and pray for your enemies.
God Bless You
