...then why not come to church and find out for yourself! There are lots of friendly Christian congregations almost everywhere!
Besides the usual Sunday-morning worship services, most churches offer extra worship services, Bible-study groups, community service, volunteer opportunities, outreach programs and other activities throughout the week.
Church isn't only about worshipping God; it's about building strong communities, connecting with neighbors, and making new friends.
Won't you join us this Sunday?

What a lovely invitation, I hope you embody the teachings of Christ. So many of Christs followers don't. Which is why I must decline.
I have a friend in the Catholic Church, who is very devout. He and I have some lovely conversations, but he himself has told me that the leading cause of atheism is Christians and that truly is a shame.
God Bless you and yours....a friend

been there, done that. I have already gotten beyond the limits of Christianity in my life on a spiritual level. Try doing it yourself. Religion was made to control people and leaders of churches do not allow the congregation to know the whole spiritual truth. There is a place for God in your life, God is real and the most powerful being there is; and a love for Jesus is fine. But there is more than that in life and you owe it to yourself to find it. Blessed Be.

No, I won't join you or anyone else in church on sunday. God never changed the day of worship to the first day of the week.
You are a day late.

The truth is God commands true christian to keep the Sabbath which is the day we call Saturday.
If you can show me where it says in the bible to keep Sunday or the first day then I will. Or if you can show me where it doesn't matter which day we keep, then I'll keep Sunday or some other day.
Jesus keep the sabbath, Paul kept the sabbath. Here's just one scripture Acts 13:42 but there's plenty more.

to gwad_is_a_myth...
his point is that we won't judge you, but want to help you get forgivness...besides, when did the ten commandments become the "ten suggestions"
to those who say sunday isn't sabbath...didn't you know that aftereaster, sabbath was changed to sunday? the vatican has approved that because it make more sense to celebrate on the day that Christ rose from the dead. The pope is infallible, thus Jesus aggrees with it. Jesus has visited many saints, and mary has too, saterday is our lady's day and sunday is our lords day...they both say that.

I was a christian dear you want to hear the truth?
at 23 i saw fights at my best friends church, I also saw them bicker incessantly with each other
at 25 i saw my family TEAR EACH OTHER APART BECAUSE BOTH WERE CHRISTIANS OF A DIFFERENT SECT. and i hear the excuse not a true christian so often it makes me want to vomit. its all just a pack of lies and excuses.
at 27 i almost got fired by a christian that thought i should be christian too or lose my job for it.
also I prayed for guidance and God wants me to be Daoist. The Evil one guided me you say? well you just insulted God then because thats who i talked to!

people can't handle the truth.. but if you really knew anything about Christianity, studied its history you would not reference it as truth.. I'm not saying it's bad...many people need rules because they don't know how to behave otherwise.. Did you know that in the bible even your god says if you ever saw the truth you would die instantly?.. I've read your book over 40 times..and I can tell you this.. You cannot find the truth by listening to the lips of mankind.. you must find it on your own..

Dittos` on your post about going to Church . The folks who laugh at Christians for believing in God will one day stare death in the face , alone ! The flesh thinks it is going to live on earth forever , and man has accepted the easy way to live without God. As Christians we still must pray for them to be saved ! If they chose to be saved , then death standing at their bedside while they take their last breath on earth won`t bother them , as Jesus will be there to take them home to be with Him forever...
