why should he care about what someone else says, they don't care about him or pay his bills. you should go to a gym though because you don't want him to get diabetes or something worse. your body is just a shell. everyone is the same inside, except for the jerk who said he was fat. shine it on you'll forget about the jerk and he'll go on to intimidate someone else.

Hypnosis, seriously, you have to short circuit his beliefs about his self image. You can download hypnosis MP3s, they cost from $9 on up, shop around. The same with losing weight, my wife has lost 30 lbs via hypnosis, without dieting, being cranky, or exercising, the scales don't lie. He just has to listen to them once a day, minimum, before going to bed is fine, with or without headsets. It could take two to six weeks before it fully kicks in, but usually you will see some improvements the first time around. Depression is a state of mind, his perceptions of what is real and or imagined. I know it's very hard to see someone you care for suffering. Advertising (advert lieing) is cruel, saying your a nobody unless you have rock hard abs, white teeth, and a tan. TV commercials constantly beat up a person over this. I will pray for him too, that he has "peace and comfort," he doesn't have to be particularly religious, just to know allot of people do ask God to give peace and comfort to those that are suffering. Please try the hypnosis, try self esteem or depression, as well as weight loss topics. If he has trouble with random thoughts interfering while listening, tell him to imagine they are like a log jam on a river, and to let them pass without thinking about them. Overweight or thin, he is (everyone is) the same great, lovable person they are, no matter what the scales say. God bless both of you.

Start a good diet and exercise program: even if the exercise is walking for 40 minutes each day. Focus on the positive side of this: How this is a wakeup call and for this good reason you both will change to a healthier active lifestyle beginning today.

Maybe, if you have a digital camera, take some "before" pictures. Post them on your refrigerator door if that would motivate you both to keep it up.

Be supportive. Yes, be his workout, weight loss buddy, but just be supportive. Boost his self esteem. Tell him all the things that you think are great about him; try to get his attention away from his weight, which is obviously bothering him.

Low self esteem is hard to overcome. Somewhere, someone told him he was not worthy, and no matter how many times you tell him he is, whoever told him he isn't is going to make more of an impact. But keep trying--being supportive and boosting him up will do more for him in the long run.

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !

Keep telling him he is fat. Break him down untill he is in the dumps and will be forced to change. I wheighed 240lbs and my family did that to me, I felt so bad that my determination was never bigger. I am now 150lbs and healthy. He realizes he is fat and if he hasnt changed its because he didn't want to or didn't have enough willpower. It seems cruel but it works. I "broke" my girl friend 3 months ago and so far she has lost 24lbs and she plans to lose 60 more.

working out is a great way to help get rid of depression... It releases endorphins! while neither one of you are signed up yet, just make sure he knows that being a certain way the public acts as if you should look is not important what so ever.

Be a good workout buddy and get him into the gym to help his depression/weight loss problem. If he continues to ruminate about his problems he might sink deeper into a depression.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a diet and fitness calculator that you can put on your computer or cell phone. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. You should be ashamed of yourself! That is if your the one that cooks for him. And if you are, then start cooking healthier for him. Follow a plan, don't buy frozen diet food for him either!
