why would any one want one of those nasty looking things?

Well if you want a new one I would suggest definitely go to the closest dealer next to you. I am actually looking for one myself but there is no dealer in my state. The closest one is in Tacoma, WA.
You can always check out their website, there you can customize your Mini also to your liking with all the options and bells and whistles... ;-)

they are ranging from 17 grand to 22 grand (starting price)

Wait and get one of the new fuel cars that are supposed to be comming out sometime soon... They get like 77 miles to the gallon in the city.... 3.22 per gal...
