Yes. I just went through an episode a few days ago. I didn't even know it was anxiety until I described how I feel to my doctor.
Mind racing, crying, happy, crying, etc. Just make sure to tell your doc if the meds aren't working. Did you know there are groups that meet for anxiety like they do for AA and NA.? Just a thought. Try mental health websites.

You have to give yourself time for the meds to get into your system before you give up and be real with your doctor and him/her everything that you are feeling. Anxiety can cause you to feel so many different emotions and they can last for a split second to hours or days. If you can't stop you mind from spinning then try some yoga or meditation. Sometimes just listening to music can relax you enough to get some sleep. Tell yourself that YOU CAN control your anxiety and it WILL NOT control you. Good luck

Anxiety does not make you on an emotional roller coaster, but being bi-polar or borderline personality disorder does. Having Anxiety with this dosen't help, talk to your doctor about Zyprexa or Topamax, they both seem to help. I have all three disorders and am nut case without the meds.

Well sweety, take it from someone that has lived with a panic disorder for many years: If it's just starting now it's most likely stress related, so you have to figure out what's really bothering you. Take Valerian root pills. They are not a drug and they are not drowsy. (And pills over drops 'cause they're disgusting) Try to do "chill activities" and try to relax.
Stay away from any form of caffeine, drugs that contain pseudoephedrine and breddy stuff.
If you still feel like you're fraeking out or if you start having attacks you should go see a doctor.
Hope this can help.

talk to your doctor. Anxiety and other mental issues can be VERY difficult to treat, and meds work differently for everyone. If this one is causing other issues, like your mind racing, talk to your doc about different dosages and different medications.

One thing you have to remember is that it takes approximately a month for you to start noticing a difference when you are on psych meds. Other people will notice before you do.

Well, I can tell you that you could exercise to help with the tension and then ask your Dr to up your dosage or change it but this is common with anxiety and panic attacks
