A few of you got the wrong idea about the shy guy question i posted, You all thought i dont speak to him at all. We go out a lot, and we chat all the time, but it seems whenever we are together in person he gets quiet. Hes a great guy and we share common interests. However I try to open up to him and whever we are face to face he sort of freezes and i dont know how to get him to be just like he normanly would be on the phone and stuff.

I think you should ask him if there is anything he wants to discuss with you, allow him to speak most of the time and don't pressure him. Some guys don't talk a lot, so let him open up when he feels like it. If you enjoy his company and go out frequently, just go with the flow. Apparently he isn't to shy to go out with you.Conversation will progress with time. Just be patient.

I have your answer....I am not sure I should tell you though.....hopefully you are old enough to be responsible with theinformation. ......You sound confident...It sounds like he is not...You need to help him feel confident and then open the door......In other words.....Tell him what you think would be a good first kiss scenario and then create that very situation...If he doesn't get it....Don't give up because he may be very not confident and he may be slow to realize that you are for real when you create the ideal situation.....The solution is to create the situation over and over again until he gets it right. If he thinks he can't blow it he will relax and if you assure him that he can't blow it then he will value you even more for showing him that you are willing to make it all comfortable for him. This is of course the best case scenario. There is the possibility that he is not mature enough, or you for that matter, because I don't know if you are teens or twenties or even thirties. Everything is relative you know.

maybe hes nervous around you. he just has to get used to you. if hes still not opening up after a while, ask him about why he is being so quiet/shy around you. just give him time to come out of his shell..once he feels comfortable with you he will start being himself.
