wow! already I see everyone has a different interpretation.
To me it means casual sex.

To me "hooking up" means just having sex with someone.

I think it is suppose to mean the equivalent of going steady, as it was once called. the way that I have interpreted it it could also mean having sex.

Making out.. Nothign else..Like kissiing.. thats all. I would say that going up ur shirt wud be included in hooking up or just like rubbing anywhere From OUTSIDe the clothes
