There are a couple things you could do. I have never had word tell me this so I am not sure what the problem is. But you can usually find a way around any ms warning and messages so you should be able to still use word. Unless you started typing the paper on an newer version of word, this is a problem all in it's self, because usually the older versions of word won't be compatible with the newer versions. You will need to either get a newer version of word, or find a computer that will let you use word. I would say that in the next two days you should either buy a new version of word or find a friend

Fixing things is really easy. Just go into This Here Place and select the Whatchamacallit. Easy as pie.

Convert what to what? When does it come up? Is it when you open the program or when you are trying to save a file?

Try www.microsoft.com...knowledgebase...choose Microsoft Word.
