While a few islamic countries have made headway in democracy for women they are such small countries as malaysia and Lebannon which have large numbers of christians and american/European relatives.

Everything changes that is the eternal truth. So the enslavement of Muslim women will also change. It is only a matter of time. Every religions once enslaved women Isn't it ? Islam is comparatively a new religion so they may need some more time to be get reformed.

Enslavement. Indonesia had the women President. Bangladesh had women Prime Minister many time. Pakistan had women Prime Minster many times.
How many times US had the elected women President? They are more rigid who can't have women as President.
BTW democracy is the not best system of government. Its the most oppressive tool of elite to keep masses under their control.

Only ISLAM has given dignity to women you can prove that by just opening these sites GIRLS.COM,CUTEGIRLS.COM , NICEGIRLS.COM. What they will show is nudity & insult of womenhood if nudity is so good why is pop & nuns & president ,his wife not nude all of modern world is just using womens body they are nasty . In ISLAM rites of women in some senses more than men you should first study islam it self dont look at muslims if a driver is not good it dosent mean car is bad.

I am a Muslim woman! :)
And I live freely, the things you think "bad men are makng us to do", is our own wills! This is what you never get.
And instead, think of so-called "democratic" countries' reactions on us! They don't allow us to wear what our religion orders. They allow us to wear what we want in the streets, but then they look at us with hatred! What's the freedom here? "Be one of us, and then be free!" Is it your motto?
Think of your country, before thinking of ours! Believe me, we're much more democratic!.. Think of your why your nuns(or something else, I forgot their names) forbidden to marry... Isn't it too harsh???
Last two sentences for just showing the question's hypocrasy, don't get me wrong. Other than that, Christian women can do whatever they want, it's their belief. I don't have to judge them!
