How many dates does it take to know if person is marriageable?

I don't think there is a set number of dates. I think it just takes as many dates as necessary to get to know the person.

We're all marriageable (sp?) but the real question is are they stayable? That is, will this be the person you want to spend time with after all the fun bits of being newly wed are over?

In my ex's view usually 2 months worth. But he was dumb.
