There would have been no need for God to save Noah if he ran into pirates, because the pirates would have drowned trying to board the ark.

God had already saved Noah. All others, with the exception of Noah's family, were drowned. Hence, no pirates..sorry.. AaArrRgGgggg!!!!

I think the defense that God gave Noah against pirates is the smell of the Ark...who could come within a mile of it and live?????

You must remember, God was on Noah and his family's side. God would have taken care of any marauding pirates still left after the great flood. There probably were none left anyway.
