Time is the best healer as well as having people you can trust to tell them what you are going through. Prayer is also good to pray as to ask God for help.

How quickly you get over a broken heart will depend on what the person did to break your heart and the type of individual as well mentally and spiritually. Say for example you caught your partner in bed with another person. This for some people is some thing they can't get over at all. Others will be back on their feet in no time.

Go shopping!!!!! Go to the mall and see what else is out there. And it wouldn't hurt to accept the fact that it's over. The more that you hold on to the emotional attachments from a broken relationship, the harder it's going to be to move on.

If you break a glass, do you spend time trying to piece it all back together? Or do you sweep it up and throw it away and get a new glass. You're still going to be upset about breaking the glass. But if you want something to drink, you need to get a new glass.

take care of yourself. start getting involved in things you like to do, any old hobbies u had, etc. join a club/ organisation to keep yourself occupied. go to the gym, do sports outdoors, etc. go out wtih fiends and most importantly try to stay away from the person that broke ur heart in the first place at all costs!!! u'll meet someone else when u least expect it, and it will be better than ever!! good luck! :)

CRY your eyes out...get all your hurt, anger, sadness out in one good fit, then do things that take your mind off of your pain/ex. Look for other people...not for another relationship, but flirting helps a lot......then you will notice, very slowly, your heart doesnt hurt as much! good luck

take every piece that's left over, scotch tape it, and hope that your heart isn't left in pieces again. I think all you need is some time, as long as it takes, and eventually get back out there...

Either time, which can take years, in some cases. Or find a replacement. Sad, but true.
