Away from the large border Hispanic communities Hispanics have assimilated, intermarried and can be found at all levels of society. (Like Bush has Hispanic niece etc.) Act just like Irish or Italians or other Catholic immigrants in a generation or two. Why is that a problem? and at the last census the country was considered 82 percent white. This included many assimilated Hispanics however. I'm going to have to clear my throat for this one......NONE OF US RUN THIS COUNTRY. If you are not in the top ten percent of the population that is wealthy then you really have no say. Look at the last few years...I don't think you'll ever have that to worry about. What you need to worry about is whether or not in the next years of your life you will still be able to ask questions like this publicly.

Jeez, tolerance is not your strength. Racism and hate will get you nothing. It is not about race. Corruption crossing the border I will buy into though.
