OK, I asked this earlier and only one person responded with idea that was way too expensive. Let's try this again.

I am not a cheap idiot. I usually go all-out and spend the big bucks on my dates, however it is OBVIOUS that the girl I going to be going out with soon is not impressed by that.

So, I live in L.A. and I am trying to figure out what would be some absolutely drop dead romantic things to do in this city that don't involve a ton of cash (sunset cruises are expensive, people). Obviously, walking on the beach is cliche and walking in the hills at night is dangerous.

So, any ideas?

Well I'm a guy but I have some ideas. Take her to a comedy club. The comedians will entertain her instead of you. And have one of the comedians point yoiu and your date out and say something romanic and funny for her. It may not be all that romantic but she will laugh.

Or you could take her to dinner, a nice restraunt and pay the owner ahead of time a bit of cash and have him dim the lights for you and your date and light some pink or red candles. And have roses put on the table. A little bit of a cliche but it's nice. Or you could incorporate the two ideas.

Hmmmmmm, One thing Don't kiss her on the first date. Take her to dinner (Not HIGH class) but something nice. Talk to her asking her things say "I want to know more about you" after all that crap go some where romantic, as in a bridge over a river, fountain etc....OH I just got finished reading your thing you want to very romantic? Flirt but be cool, like while at dinner running your fingers along her arm and say "Have I said you like very nice today?" etc.

uhhhh yeah, it's a bit too early for snuggling... how about going out for coffee/hot chocolate (the good thing about this is that you can do the coffee thing in whatever weather). That way you still get the warmth, without the sudden-ness of snuggling.

do you live in an apartment cause you could make her dinner and eat it on the roof with candles and stuff. or if you have a house, eat in the park.
