There is definitely chemistry between this new guy and I. We havent done anything... not even a hug or kiss, but it looks like we want to. I dont want to give in too quickly. But i dont want him to think I dont want to. How long should I wait? I still want to keep the respect between us. Will holding out for a little while make him want it more? Cuz i heard guys like what they cant have... If he makes a move, then i'll follow. But I'm not makin a move yet.

he and I talk for hours, we get along great, he tells me i'm beautiful and such a level headed person. We laugh and act goofy. I want to kiss him but I'm afraid of rejection. Hes a really nice guy.

First off don't try to be hard to get. That's a waste of time for everyone. Just start hanging out with him and have fun! Do stuff together and then give him "the look". You know, like if you guys are out having fun and are somewhat alone, the moons bright, you look at him, he looks at you......Anyway you know what where Im going with this. Just keep doing what you're doing and let him know that you wouldn't mind being kissed (among other things). Good luck!

Hug or kiss on the first date does not make you a slu t. If you make him wait too long he may go to another girl, but it depends on the guy. Ask yourself, do you want to? If you do then do. If you don't feel like it's right or don't want to then don't. Generally girls classify other girls as sluts, men don't do that all that much. I have friends that give me hugs all the time and they aren't sluts.

Holding out sex-wise is good until marriage if respect is really what you seek. If you give in you're not necessarily a slut but your reputation is damaged even in his eyes.
Holding out doesn't make me want it more, I go elsewhere and get it. But hey, I am not faithful to anyone nor do I plan to be until married.

To really answer, you'd need to say more about the guy. However, if you really want a kiss then guide the conversation in a more romantic direction.

yeah it will make him want it more but he might think you don't like him if you don't at least hug, or kiss him. Don't have sex with him soon and he won't think you a slu+.

It is ok to make him wait.But see to it that no one else goes on a ride with him while u wait.Make him wait but give him hints of your interest in him to keep him interested or he may go away assuming that you are not interested in him.please inform me of the progress.

Duh, of course he'll want it more if you hold out, but you run the risk of him either goin' somewhere else for it, or he can get focused on having sex w/you and then that becomes his main focus....and then after you finally give in, will he still want you???
