You only fall in love once, if you have a first time in falling love that wasnt love

It was over 30 years ago, at least I thought it was love. Stayed with her for 20 years and had 2 great boys. But, she preferred someone else. About 9 years ago, I found what true love is and have been extremely happy ever since! So I will say 9 years ago, because I now know the other was not.

I was 15 and in the end it was never meant to be but that never crossed my mind while we were dating. I thought it never would b/c back then, we were suppose to last forever. I'm so glad it isn't like that now. But I will always have a spot for that person in my heart.

I had a dream and fell in love with her, then met her in spain; one year later we were engaged and then she just left out of fear. I am still in love with her. I thought I was in love before this and realized that true love is something entirely different.
