When we use the term Native Americans, we are not referring simply to a person who was born on American soul. The term "Native", in this circumstance, is referring to the race which was the historical and bilogical resident of the land, prior to the English colonization of the Americas. So, in some sense, yes, those who were born her are Natives of the land, but the term your asking about does not maintain that meaning.

Being dark doesn't mean you're an Indian,
and not all Indians are dark. You're stereotyping.
Stop watching the Westerns and do some research. Native Americans vary significantly in skin color.

That's dumb. Native Americans were on this continent first. If your family immigrated here by any means you ARE NOT Native American unless someone in the family had kids with one. Then you would only be half or less. You were born in America so you're American, but your race was not here first so you ARE NOT Native American.

Unless you're from INDIA you can't call yourself an idian. The term Native American describes all the people that were here before the britians colonized the americas.

You are a native american if your ancestors were here before the invasion of the europeans who brought slaves with them...other than that you're just an american.

I'll answer your question while you go pee, yes we are all native to where we are born as long as we don't invade another area where someone else resides and force them to leave.
