Please don't say 2% because that is not the answer.

I heard it was 30%, and regular milk has 40%. Why do they call it 2% then?

2% milk contains 35% fat. It is called "2%" because it is 2% fat by WEIGHT only.

Lowfat milk is 24-33% fat. And whole milk is 49% fat.

That's a lot of fat.

5 grams of fat in 2% milk. 37% less fat than whole milk. Reduced from 8 grams down to 5grams.

Stay away from low fat milk. They add powdered milk to 1% and 2% milk to give it bulk. Powdered milk has oxidized cholesterol. Oxidized cholesterol is what clogs your heart. Pasturized whole milk that is not homogenized and not ultra pasterized is good. Raw milk is best!
