I feel all your pain, I read all the profanity and all the hateful questions and answers. I am sending even more of my love to these people.

Reporting abuse only enrages them. When they receive the reported abuse message their anger deepens, the grip of stupidity tightens. Ignorance is choking them to death… they reach out to seek your help that is why they are here but they express it badly…. And some of you report them and in doing so you abuse them! You must take the lead with love.

Please just love them! Look at their answers; you can feel their pain NOW take it away from them with the love that is in your heart.

wow I have seen your stuff. You must take allot of righting class's.Personally when I express myself I rant or talk like a hillbilly. But in either case I get my point across.But in this case I wont go on or talk like a hillbilly because after reading this I felt more like lighting up a pipe and grabbing a book to read. But since I don't have a good book or a pipe just thought I would be be a smart asss and practice some typing so that I can get my point across with more info. Ya ll take care now hear.

Well, that sounds all spiritual and Christ like and all but in some instances people are just posting profanity and vulgar sexual content for reasons known only to them and God.

I'm not going to report a person who uses a curse word in anger. But I am going to report vulgar posts that resemble things written on the wall of a run down gas station in the middle of a slum. Why should a visitor to this site who may be seeking to know something about God and Jesus be assaulted with that type of posting and perhaps turn away in dismay thinking that there is nothing worth looking at here on Y/A?

I like that. It is a good concept. All people should be treated with respect. I prefer to do it anonymously though. We gentle people have to watch out and protect ourselves from people that do bad things. I only send a report if they suggest something that would be dangerous for the people reading. You can still send them love. It doesn't matter if they know about it or not , it still works.

Sorry, I have to disagree. There was someone who went by the name of Insane Islam. He was the most hateful, spiteful one here on Answers. He would hurl the most scathing insults to Muslims and Arabs, and it was so disgusting to see. I reported him a couple of times, and I guess enough people did as well. He's no longer here, his Answers profile was suspended.

Answers is for everybody, so offensive people should be reported. If you wanna pray for them, that's great, pray for them. However, they need to follow the rules here, pure and simple. When they don't, they should feel the consequences.

No, people have to learn to follow the rules. Eventually yahoo will figure out who these people are and maybe completely block out the IP addresses or something.
