Shirley Temples are, by definition, non-alcoholic.

Take 7-Up, add a dash of grenadine, stick in a wedge of lime, and you're on the Good Ship Lollipop.

Shirley Temples are a non-alocholic drink. That's what I always ordered when I was a kid.

7-Up or Ginger Ale
Grenadine (until the glass turns pink)
Garnish with cherry

That's all it is.
