Same as for stay-at-home moms. If you're single there is Welfare but if you have a wife or common law spouse then she is the breadwinner for the whole family. However there is also child tax benefits (that's what it's called in Canada) for low income families that you get monthly.

Yes there is! There is just as much for u as there is for a single mom! The health and humane service office in your area is the most help. They can pay part of your rent- sometimes all of it- for a long period of time! They can help u with food and medical and utilities as well! They seem to have endless ways of helping- alls u need to do is go down and apply and speak with a worker! Dont let your pride stand in the way of whats best for the kids! Good luck to u! I commend you for loving and caring for your kids !

in the very enlightened lands of europe, where people understand that human infants and toddlers are severely harmed by separation from mommy, the governments used the pooled wealth of the people to pay parents to stay home with their kids. In Finland, it is required that dad stay home one of the years, at least.

in america, we have a max of two years of 'welfare' and the women who receive it are required to put their kids in day care (subsidy to middle class day care operator) and go to work for substandard wages. whoopee!

So, if you are lucky enough to live in europe, or when we can convince our fellow americans to fund families and not warfare, you can get assistance to stay home!

what do you mean? you stay at home, and mom works? There probably isn't any kind of assistance you can get unless you go back to work and then you may be able to recieve state paid childcare.

Why are you at home if you are broke? It's time to be a man and support your family. Stop looking for tax payers to do it for you.
