well they say if you drink a good amount of water, the stool will retain enough water to give you fiber, and I'm sure it will sink to the bottom of the pot due to the weight of it. I don't drink enough water, and a lot of the time my stools will float to the top of the pot. I've had a history of irritable bowel syndrome, so a lot of the time, my stools are very runny and inconsistant. They're not pure liquid like diahrrea, but they're still not fibrous. I'm increasing my intake of water, slowly but surely. Hopefully they will be a good size, with plenty of water retention.

WOW!!
You really have to be bored to think of such a question.

Why are people fascinated with feces?

My guess would be what its made up of, so what you eat.
Try eating all marshmallows

This would be an excellent science experiment.

Interesting question. It's because human feces consist of fibers which can't be digested.

If there is a lot of undigested fats it will float, Could be a sign of H. Pylori or gall bladder problems. Not sure about sinkage.
