Its like whenever I work at a fast food place, customers act rude to me, for example when I work drive thru and I'm friendly to the customers and give them a smile and say, "have a nice day", they look at me like I'm crazy. And one time whne I was just starting my first day, there was a woman who was like, "Straw, Straw, where's my straw, they always give me a straw." It's like they dont give me any kind of respect, when I give them respect. I considered Taco Bell to be the worst place I've ever worked at because not only were the customers rude to me, but also the people I've worked with because some would act bossy towards and rude of course and I'm really a quiet person and dont bother anybody. I"m the type of person that just does my job, get paid and go home.

Its because people are stupid. For some reason customers look down on those who work at fastfood places such as McDonalds because they are making a little more than minimum wage, but what they're retarded asses dont realize is the employees think they're lame for eating at such a cheap *** place and then ragging on them for working there and making money

You seem like such a nice person. Kind hearted I would say. I'm saddened about this question. This is just indecency. Show some respect! I think I know why this is occurring, it's probably because they consider you low-class since you work in a fast-food restraunt. Hey, everyone has to experience little by little. Customers are disgusting, although I don't have a job myself, I was born late so yeah. But that's awfully benign of you to give them a gentle and warm smile and sa, "have a nice day." You're cute. really. But that's the greatest thing about you. However, being quite is good, if you're aggressive, things can happen. Situations worse than what you're having now.

I know how you feel i used to work in a fast food restaurant and this is the world we live in. okay ignore them they look down on you cause you making under 7 dollars a hour and they think youre basically not good enough. thats how society is. ive been through the same thing. just do your job andcontinue getting paid. if you quit you wont have no money and people love to see you down with nothing. sometimes you do what you gotta do in life to make it you know what im saying. work until you can find you a better job where youdont have to deal with customers thats rude. try a clothing store or be a nurseaide. im quiet also and stay to myself but if they cross the line you gotta sat them straight! i hope you find a better job. u seem like a real nice person good luck!

well hon there are idiots everywhere you go! you just have to roll with the punches where you customers are concerned, after all they are the reason you are there. stand your ground and be who you are don't let anybody change you. as for your work mates ignore them but if you have the opportunity to say how you feel with out getting into trouble do so. don't live your life being any body's doormat. all the best

when you are dealing with hungry people they become animals. tell me if i'm wrong... women are the worst. because they cease acting like women and begin to act like angry, uncontrollable witches. they seem to forget that YOU are handling their food. then, they get really rude if you forget something and proceed to fly off of the handle. and they make up lies and say stupid things like, "and no pickles... i am allergic to anything with pickles in it". and then you have the @sshole with the small penis who thinks it's your fault, "i didn't order this. are you giving me an attitude?!? let me speak to your manager... NOW! i'll have your @ss fired!" and the people on your "team" are like, "ju no doin' right. i work here for like four jears and i know how do ju yob better".

you should get out of the restaurant business... it sucks. i did it for several years because i had to. i'm glad i don't have to do that anymore.

It's sometimes that way because they feel as if they have the upper hand at taking control. As 4 your employees don't worry about what they think or say about you as long as they don't put their hands on u.Just keep doing your job and try 2 have the upper hand.
