Took me two days and cost me $35. But I did the work myself. My couch was 92 inches long so you could get by with less fabric

Cost To Reupholster Couch

A good fabric will run $25-30 per yd but you can find lots on the bargain or clearance table for $5- 10 per yd.You can always ask for a discount if you have to buy lots of yards or if the material you want is on two bolts that you will have to put together to use. You can save some by not covering the back if it isn't going to show. If you are hiring it done you will probably pay around $300 labor or more depending on your area and the expertise of the person doing it. You can do it yourself by taking off the old and using those pieces as your pattern. Make sure to add the hem allowance to all sides! Use a heavy duty stapler to make sure it stays put! Use uphostery thread also.Good luck!

Cost = number of yards x cost of fabric.

No repeat you'll need a minimum of 25 yds. Repeat will make you need more yards depending on the size of the print. Go to mgbw.com and use their calculator.

Most often, costs less to buy a new couch.

This is something you can do yourself. But the cost depends on the fabric. Currently the cheapest upholestry fabric is around 5.00/ yard and is clearance type. Can be as much as 20/yrd for high quality and durable fabric. the cushions insides will probably need to be replaced and you can buy the innards at Joanns or Hancocks for about 30 for that length. Good Luck.

The cost will depend on many factors
IS the frame solid; how about any springs ?
What about the cushions ?
The final / biggest issues are the cost of fabric and labor
(Fabric can be found on sale in many areas, so shop wisely)

This will depend on the fabric you choose labor is fairly cheap but the cost of the foam keeps going up because it is a petroleum product
