Job market as a massage therapist?

My daughter is interested in becoming a massage therapist. We live in San Diego. What is the job market? Pros, cons in this line of work?

I'm in school to become a massage therapist right now. The pros would be: flexibility (making your own hours, ability to find a job just about anywhere), good pay, getting to make others feel good and having a job that makes you happy. The cons would be: lots of standing, dealing with less than desirable clients, hard to start out on your own (you have to build up a clientale before branching out on your own!).
