My dog had scabs around her face and mouth from the aggressive play from his dog. My dog is very submissive around all size of dogs and goes belly-up, then she'll warm up to play. Qustion is: we'll be watching their dog for a week, how can I stop the aggressive play? I don't want her pretty face scarred. Any suggestions welcome.

Well, if you must babysit their Dog, then ask them to bring a crate for her/him. this way you will have control over what that dog does to yours. I agree, that should not happen, especially if your Dog is submissive to all others, she was being Bullied. Not a good idea to have that happen in her own home. That should be the one place she is safe from others.

ask them to buy a muzzle for their dog before bringing it over , or if that will make for bad feelings wait till they leave and buy one yourself. also either keep it crated or in differrent area - garage,porch , basement.

SPRAY BOTTLE AND SOMETHING THAT MAKES A LOUD NOISE LIKE POTS AND PANS..TRY TO KEEP THE DOGS UNDER CONSTANT SUPERVISION WHEN THEY ARE TOGETHER.
