This is a great question that more should be asking.

Iran is playing 3-Card Monte in the Mideast to keep attention off of their considerable efforts to arm themselves with nukes. They, along with Syria, are funding and directing the Hezbollah attacks on Israel, hoping the predictable response will ignite a Jihad, and occupy the world's attention.

It is no coincidence all this is taking place prior to the G-8 Summit, where Bush is going to meet with his European counterparts to discuss economics and other issues. Many European leaders are painfully aware that their considerable Muslim population could devastate their countries if sufficiently aroused. Therefore, they will apply pressure to Bush to adopt a more conciliatory approach towards Iran, Syria, and their toadies, Hezbollah.

It doesn't matter. And you can say you heard it here first. Iran and North Korea are going to be in for a very snappy surprise in short order. It will not be without consequences, however, and all of our lives are in for a substantial change.

You are wise to have an interest in this topic that will soon be on everyone's lips.

Israel is bombing Lebanon. It is a tricky situation because Syria and Iran.

This goes back so far it's so hard to keep track of. I really hope they find a solution. At the same time I hope they destroy or weaken a lot of the terrorist networks.

Unfortunatly, its only a matter of time before the yanks stick their nose in, and commence military action, and then they will drag in Britain and Australia, and anyone else that will follow them like little puppy dogs, (just like Iraq). This may be the start of World War 3, which will accelerate into nuclear war.

It's all so scary. Seems like the entire middle east is just constantly at war. I just keep wondering what will be next? There just doesn't seem to be any end to any of the bloodshed. Very sad.
