After all, there are good Christians that suffer unbearable agony in life, and ***holes who make millions and have all the love and attention they need. There are also good Christians whose life is pretty peachy and the same ***holes who get what's coming to them. Seems to me it's a crap shoot.

Oh, yes, the "afterlife." Is there anyone that's been there and done that? No, didn't think so.

you know it was Mao Tse Dung who said, "religion is the root of all evil".
that was back in 1958..and he's still right.

religion is a man-made belief in a system we do not comprehend. it is something invented by man back in the day.

don't take it too seriously.

i would be more concerned about day to day life and events that shape the world such as this recent Middle East fighting and North Korea mess we are in..along with Iraq, Iran and other crazy things.

it's a bit too much.

I personality do not think that GOD plays favorites. I do think that the life you live is what was ordained and how you live it is your choice. As for the ***holes that make millions and have all the attention and love then need...Who's attention are they getting ??and who's love is more important...and can we be soo sure that they have all they need. U can make millions and get love and respect as well but the real ? is what will you do with it and how would u treat people. I am a saved / Christian and a good one at that but I am right now as we speak going Thur some hard times, But guess what... I have peace in my mind and I know that GOD loves me even though right now I can not see his love. Last but not least ...there is a difference in being a christian and saved. there are Christians that just go to church but do not have a relationship with GOD. And there are saved people that don't go to anyone church but has a relationship out of this world with him. Bottom line... life is what you make it & how much god is apart of it !!

God's love is limitless and reaches to everyone. However, His favor is another story. But then there is this crazy little thing called "sin" which is all the bad things people do and it pretty much messes everything up.

First of all bad things happen to good people not because God causes it but because God allows it. He allows it, not because that particular bad thing is a part of His plan, because the effects that one bad thing may have will lead to another event that is a more specific part of His plan. As humans we can't really understand the way in which God works.

And just because God favors someone doesn't mean their life is going to be hunky-dory either. In the gospels it says that Mary conceived her son, Jesus, as a virgin because she had found favor in the eyes of the Lord. That meant she was an unmarried pregnant woman! No one really believed that she had conceived as a son as a virgin, she must have been a woman of poor character. She almost lost her marriage, her reputation, and her life due to the effects of God's favor. However, because of her faithfulness God allowed her to bring a savior into the world.

So basically, God does favor people but that doesn't mean everything is going to work out for them.

Yup. i understand that may not a common family-oriented Megachurch point of view, yet i do no longer care. God does not cope with everyone like he taken care of Joseph, son of Jacob. He did no longer pick 153,000 Jeremiah the prophets to blanket the international with the understand the Lord in Jeremiah's time. i think of God additionally notices whilst a Christian gets out of the convenience zone and needs to truly arise for God. i do no longer think of he must be "honest" and cope with everyone who isn't status up for him interior the comparable way. Jesus stated people who love plenty because of the fact they have been forgiven plenty, and that i think of he notices them too. As for the version between the international and the chosen concerning to God's decide for, it is no longer complicated to be sure he performed favorites before the element ever have been given started. So i'm confident he does play favorites, and that i could want to be as favorited with the aid of him as he will enable.

God doesn't play favorites, because in the Bible it says "Furthermore, if YOU are calling upon the Father, who judges impartially according to each one's work..." (1 Peter 1:17)
It is by unforeseen occurrence that people suffer.. which is a whole other story.. But it is NOT God's fault. Message me if you have any questions about that.

God has a plan for each and every person that will bring Him glory, we have not the mind of God and could never understand how He weaves the details of lives for His purposes. He is not a respector of persons though and if it is in His word, and suits His plan and purpose He will bless you, regardless of who you are, where you are and what you do for a living. Christian or non Christian, a hard word to hear, but according to the Word it is the truth.

God doesnt play favorites. He gave us a little something called "free will". We can choose to make our lives meaningful and great or not. That is what makes Him so awesome! Those "aholes" who make millions will be happy in this life but there will always be someone there to knock them down. Look at Kenneth Lay.

Many people have said they've had near death experiences. They were legally dead for a period of time.
Also, We are under the impression that we always get what we deserve.. It is a very untrue statement. There are many great people in this world who suffered greatly. As there are many who've gotten all the luck but were aweful towards others.

God is the forces that interface with energy
to produce creation.
These laws of physics play no favorites.
The day of the chosen children and magic
carpet ride is over.
We would like God to respond to prayer.
However, God does respond to our efforts.
