Just look in the Yellow Pages and find a dentist that will accept payment arrangements. Many will set up reasonable payments and others also have a financing company that patients can use with no interest. I never purchase dental insurance because it's cheaper to pay out of pocket since most dental insurance doesnt cover major procedures until after 12 months and a cleaning is usually $100 or less. Try to find a dentist with a free consultation and then you will know if anything needs to be done to your teeth and if so go along with the payment plan. Usually about $50-100 down and $50-$100 per month for major procedures. Good luck and hope I could help.

Check out local dental schools or universities with dental programs -- they offer serious discounts to people because they need volunteers for their dental students to practice on. I know that sounds scary, but don't worry! They are accompanied and watched over by professionals during the entire process. So you'll actually receive professional help (indirectly), and hopefully you'll feel good about helping a student become an experienced dentist. :)

If there is a Dental College near by that's a good place to go. My own dentist suggested I go since I don't have insurance. It's cheaper and they have to do a good job because everything they do has to be checked by an instructor to make sure it is right. I saved a lot of money by going there.

Not sure, hospital will give you the antibiodics you need to get the swelling down... You can go to most dentist and have them pull it if you can't afford. I know my answer does not offer to much hope, but anything beats a tooth ache. Some state hospitals offer a dentist that will come in just for teeth pulling.

I have dental insurance, and still can't afford the payments.. I spent $3000 on my son last year.....WITH the plan...grrrr.

Look in the yellow pages and also the white business page look for universities /colleges in your area or nearest to you that have a dental department or Dental School--all the work is done by students but strictly supervised by the instructors who ae tops in the dental field for they teach future dentists AND all the services ARE FREE. Had work done myself and the same quality as if done by dentist. More attention paid to you for the students get graded on their work for you give feedback on service, their manners towards you and so forth to the instructor.

Depending on where you live, check out dental schools. In New Orleans, LSU Dental School was wonderful.

A lot of hospitals have "Dental Schools" where they offer free services. The work is done by students, but there is always a Dentist there.

If there is a university with a dental school near you, try there. The fees are lower because students are doing the work.

India its super cheap there. And they use a numbing cream even just for cleaning your teeth. I know a ton of Indians who are fairly well off and still go back there to get their teeth worked on.
