If you are talking to a guy whom you like very much, in a romantic way, and you tell him about a guy who hit on you, is that wrong? I was quite flattered and would like to share this with him but I don't want to offend him. What do you think?

tell him then he will know he is not the only one that wants u and that u can find another guy apart from him. but of course say things like i told him i wasnt interested even though u were

Well, if he gets mad, then he's all yours, but, when a girl tells a guy that she was hit on, remember to add to that the words "but all i could think of was you". It is okay with me when one of my friends tell me a guy hit on them, for I don't own anyone, but if i was romantic and this was told to me, it would be okay. I would be flattered myself if someone hit on my girl and she turns him down because she has the real deal at home!

The danger here is that he may wonder whether you are telling him to try and make him jealous - it's important that you tell him you 'could only think of him' and explain how the flattery made you feel, so he'll understand why you wanted to share it with him. You may want to explain that first.

As long as you aren't trying to "make him jealous" then sure-honesty's the best policy. You might include how much MORE attractive your lover is than the dork(and MEAN it)...that'll blow away any jealous feelings.
