The American Empire is being tested from three fronts (West, South, and East). With countries like North Korea, China, Bolivia, Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan and Russia openly disagreeing with and (in some cases) hating America, who is to say that some/all of these countries have not signed a secret pact to overtake america?

ok first off there is no american EMPIRE, if america had wanted to be an empire, there would be no japan, there would be no germany, and right now there would be no afghanistan or iraq, we would have kept control of all those countries after we attacked and invaded them (japan and germany being WWII in case you are too young or stupid to understand). now cuba LOL they can barely read in that country, bolivia what crack are you smoking? russia may disagree with us, but we have fed them (literally) since the fall of communism in that country, now as far as n. korea, china iran, syria and afghanistan (which i don't know what planet you are on but their govt. supports us). it's called the u.s. nuclear arsenal, they don't have missiles that will reach us, which is part of why iran threatens isreal with it's nukes instead of us. and america will never be overtaken, people think this nation united after 9/11 that is a drop in a bucket compared to what would happen if a NATION openly declared war and tried to invade us, especially considering they would be destroyed before they even reached our soil. other than venezuala (drug kingpins run that country there is no real army), and bolivia (again no real army just guerillas who can only fight on their home turf). those countries would have to come by air or sea, both of which would give us plenty of time to shoot down the planes or blow the ships out of the water...try again and quit hatin on the american pride, (american empire you schmuck doesn't exist).

nicely, its going to take place. 737 bases exterior of the U. S., 6000 militia bases contained in the U. S., those are thank you to extreme priced, extraordinarily with the infrastructure that is going with them. monetary give way is taking place with Wall highway precise now. Bankers going bust. Inflation, starvation, gasoline hikes, mixed ethnicity, race wars start up. In my estimates, the inhabitants will a million/2. Who ever has brains gets in another u . s . as quickly as they are able to now ! Europe, South us of a and Asia all appear as if a solid thought. that does no longer propose something of the worldwide wont go through. each physique will for around a decade or so on an identical time as the dirt settles. Thats what happens once you circulate Afghanistan. there is an previous saying via the terrific poet and psychological in British history, Rudyard Kipling. "Afghanistan is the place large powers circulate to die". Im afraid its genuine, British empire, Soviet empire, Alexander the 'large' became into 'ungreated' right here, chinese language empire, Persian empire, and various others all died there. Its a certainty of history that in case you invade Afghanistan, your empire is probable going to be buried there. Thats basically how that's Im afraid.

First of all, America is not an empire. As a war veteran, I can assure you there is no more powerful country than the USA. What people need to understand is that there is government inside our government and a conundrum for the vast of citizens. Hating Americans is part of what ignorance breeds. Remember, these countries are never told the whole story. Are we Americans told the whole story? It is no wonder people misunderstand a patriot. Perhaps there are so many levels of experience in this arena, we respond in kind.

thirteen_fox you present sound arguments and normally i would agree with you, but i seriously wonder about some Americans today. Just using this site as an example, i have never seen so much lack of patriotism in my life. In fact it seems that to many patriotism is a dirty word. I wouldn't count on a big part of the population to do anything but collaberate with an enemy...hell they're doing that now.

David S take your anti-semetism and stick it where the sun don't shine. that very kind of talk about jews taking over the country was what gave hitler his start.

All empires of history follow a trajectory of up and then down. Many are not dragged down by external enemies but via bankruptcy through the weight of their own overambition and over-spending.

America is not immune to the example of history. If she continues to follow the path of empire, she too will fall and collapse.

Limited republic with secure rights and liberties?

...Or empire?

Choose one of these two options.

You cannot have it both ways.

Liberals are a greater threat to the United States than any foriegn country is. All of those countries are weak. Their people are starving, they can't do nothing to the United States. If they do, the United States will destroy them all.

Some of those other countries might indeed be watching us, waiting for a weak moment. But, you know, we didn't have to become hated as we are. We didn't have to let Jews take over our media and our financial institutions, and with them exert a leveraged control over US foreign policy. We could have been better informed by the past and excluded them from our country from the beginning. We did not, and now we must pay the price.

Calm yourself, believe it or not there has always been some kind of looming threat against this country from foriegn lands. This is nothing new, what is new, is the information you recieve about it.

The "American Empire' never existed - except in the minds of people who need something to blame their poor decisions on.
