You just can't allow your dog to urinate there anymore. The pH level in a dog's urine kills grass. Find somewhere else or the grass will have brown spots all over.

Prevent your dog from urinating on your lawn. If he does, water down the area thoroughly to dilute the acid.

That's hard to do. Try a very good fertilizer, other than that, you might not be able to get rid of the brown spots. :(

Teach him to pee on someone else's grass, actually, get him used to the spot where you would like him to pee, by going there all the time and wait there for awhile.
