I have been friends with a girl for a couple months, at first it started out like it could be a relationship. Things happened and afterwards, she told me she wants to have me as a friend but not in that way.
She is great, we hang out, have fun and do alot together, but she has a guy on the side that she has been having no strings with for awhile. I ignore that, and we stay as friends.
Last week, we went to the bar with some friends, I started hitting on another woman, we're chatting it up, having a good ole time and my friend pulls me over to the bar to have a shot with her. Afterwards she calls me up and asks me if I still like her.
Last night, we went out again with friends and I met the same woman, we talked, danced had a lot of fun. My friend comes up, starts hanging on me, telling me she loves me. But she is always clear that nothing can come of it.
I told her she was blocking me and wtf?
Do you think she was blocking me?

What I believe is that she wants a relationship with you but right now she just wants space, freedom, and hangouts instead of a serious relationship b/c shes thinks once yall become a item then she will never have that again b/c you might be her one. But she also dont want you hanging out with other girls b/c you r looking for a relationship right now and she is also afraid of losing you. Another thing is she dont have the courage yet b/c she isnt sure whether or not she can have a relationship with you b/c she probably wants you to always have a friend relationship at least and shes afraid if you two go out that if it turns out not working for u two then you two wont be good old friends again and she wont have her connection with you anymore, she might need time. She is giving it her best shot for you not to have a meaningful relationship with this woman. And the woman she is blocking will more then likely feel you are taken and not pursue it any further with you. So , if want to meet with this other lady, make an arrangement to do so with out your friend knowing and get a chance to explain this to her. Yes she is blocking you.

HAS SHE ANSWERED CLEARLY WHY NOTHING CAN COME OF YOU 2 HAVING A RELATIONSHIP? WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THE PIECE ON THE SIDE-WHY NOT YOU? THESE ARE THINGS I WOULD BE TRYING TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF--OTHERWISE IT SOUNDS LIKE A THING WHERE SHE MAY LIKE THE CHASE, YOU WANT SOMEONE ELSE SO NOW SHE WANTS YOU, CUZ I BET HER PIECE ON THE SIDE ISN'T ONLY WITH HER. Sounds like she wants you only when someone else is interested in you, otherwise she would have been with you a while ago. Keep her as a friend if you want, and if you are still interested, tell her she has to make up her mind because you are not going to wait around until she decides she wants to date you.

It is a case of she don't want you and she doesn't want anyone else to either. She is not being fair to you and your feelings, If she truly was a friend she would be happy that you have met someone. If you like her still then you need to ask her to sh*t or get off the pot.....because you have a life to lead with or without her.

Yes I do think she was blocking you...She likes you in her back pocket, and the fact that you like her makes her feel good. If you are starting to see other girls then its bothering her. Tell her she either needs to hook up with you and see where it goes...OR she needs to stop acting like that and blocking you from getting with other chicks. Ask her straight out.

Do you still like her? If so have a serious talk about how you both feel and make it absolutely clear that if nothing is to come of it you need her to back off.

Sounds like she wants to keep you on stand by while she has all the fun she wants. If another woman comes into your life, you won't be exclusively available for her.

Yes she was blocking you....DUH
She really doesn't want you but she doesn't want to see you with anyone else hence the blocking. Keep her as a friend unless she wants to be with you full time!
